The Summer of 2014 was very hot indeed and not just because the temperatures outside their Shoreditch offices have risen well above the levels associated with the gloomy London.
The creative community's mobile marketplace team of developers have found themselves with a problem that all startups dream of, but only a few experience—they were still a tiny startup that could fit in a small office at the top of an old Victorian house in Leonard Street, when in the Summer of 2014 they found themselves with a registered user base of over 1 million.
The embarrassment of riches coincided with their expansion into the US market.
They had to find a way to refactor the backend, internationalise and localise it, and make it scale. All with very limited resources.
What we’ve accomplished:
1.
Helped refactor live, fast-growing mobile application backend.
2.
Prepared the backend for containerisation and migration.
3.
Helped with internalisation and localisation of the backend.
